The Tagga platform now extends into the mobile advertising space, allowing our customers to deliver true multichannel campaigns that encompass engaging consumers on digital, traditional, social and mobile channels.

Now our customers can launch mobile ad campaigns, track and compare results with other mobile activations being run at the same time – such as an in-store SMS or QR code campaign.Better still, our ad-tracking features are tightly integrated with social media and thus not only can customers understand how an ad campaign performs against other campaigns – but they can also understand whois interacting with a mobile advertising campaign vs. an in-store campaign (as an example).

The Advertiser Use-Case In Plain English

An advertiser elects to run a campaign to increase its customer database. The campaign involves a promotion and engaging consumers across multiple media channels including print, social, digital and mobile advertising. The creative, offer and media plan are devised to drive traffic and incent interested consumers to fill out a contact form on a mobile site.

By leveraging the Tagga platform, the advertiser can develop a rich mobile optimized campaign site with a contact form and promotion delivery capabilities. In addition, the advertiser can generate mobile calls-to-action to add to each piece in the media mix so that consumers can engage directly using their mobile device.

Examples of this are:

SMS for radio

QR codes for print

Desktop web opt-in widgets for digital or social media

Mobile ad-tracking URLs for mobile display advertising.

Once this is developed, the advertiser can then track engagement, conversion and consumer profiles from each channel.

Specifically, with Tagga’s ad-tracking feature, the advertiser can quickly create mobile ad-tracking URLs that connect to the mobile optimized site. Performance is directly measured within the Tagga platform. The advertiser can track the traffic of each of their mobile banners separately (assuming multiple are used), as well as understand which channel drove the highest conversion to the mobile optimized site. Now that is multi-channel marketing!

For information on this feature or how to use it – please don’t hesitate to reach out!!! Contact us at sales@tagga.com or support@tagga.com

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, May 2, 2012

Tagga is pleased to announce the appointment of veteran software executive, Mr. Jean-Guy Faubert as Tagga’s Chief Executive Officer. Amielle Lake, Founder and original CEO will move into the role of Chief Marketing Officer.

“I am both thrilled and honored to have Jean-Guy join our team.” Amielle said. She added, “I believe he has exactly what Tagga needs: experience in scaling sales, superb customer relationship development skills and a proven background of leading fast-growing companies. I look forward to working with Jean-Guy and building the best company we can.”

For Jean-Guy, mobile is ripe with opportunity. According to Mr. Faubert, “Mobile Commerce is about the explosion of applications and services that are now accessible from Internet-enabled mobile devices.” He continued, “Tagga was one of the first to market with a cloud-based solution that empowers the marketer to connect with consumers across the entire media mix and enable them to buy, share, refer and play with brands whenever they like, wherever they are.”

Recently, Gartner announced a powerful prediction further reinforcing Tagga’s vision. It is as follows, “By 2017, CMO’s will spend more on technology than CIOs will on enterprise technology.”

Jean-Guy, a serial entrepreneur four times over, brings over 24 years of experience to Tagga. Most recently, as an early founder at Make Technologies, Mr. Faubert was the Executive VP of Global Alliances, which was recently acquired by Dell (see article here). During his tenure, Make sales nearly tripled year over year. As a result, Make was named to the Deloitte Technology Top 500, recognizing North America’s Fastest Growing high tech companies. Prior to joining Make Technologies, he worked at Burntsand Inc. in New York, building & managing multi-million dollar accounts including Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, and Chase. Jean-Guy is credited with being instrumental in Burnstand’s explosive growth, which later sold to Open Text. Specifically, Mr. Faubert drove sales to $ 25M with a 38% EBITDA in 3 years. This encompassed the addition of four business lines, acquiring a US Web Content Management company and over 125 people.

Jean-Guy sees the mobile world as a consumer centric one where Tagga plays a substantial role in connecting brands with this market shift. “Smart Phones are quickly becoming Personal Assistants for the savvy consumer – giving them remote access to transact directly with brands as they choose.”

Mr. Faubert concluded, “Tagga’s solution enables marketers to take advantage of a dramatic shift in consumer behavior. Tagga believes in a future where consumers will make instant purchase decisions based on their profile, their ability to engage with a brand on their mobile device, and how they interact with their social network.”

Gary Tauss, Chairman of the Tagga Board, had this to add, “After an in-depth search and rigorous review process, we were pleased to conclude with the appointment of Jean-Guy. We believe he has the tools Tagga needs to help us launch into the next stage of growth.”

Tagga’s campaign management solutions are used by ad agencies and brands across North America to better optimize and measure their multi-channel marketing efforts.

Tagga was added to the finalist list for Deloitte & Touche’s Top 100 Emerging Companies in Canada in 2011, The Ready to Rocket 2012 List, and the Top 100 Red Herring North American List for 2011. Tagga recently added Olivier Vincent, former CEO and founder of Canpages and Penny Wilson, former CMO of Macromedia to its Board of Directors.

Vancouver BC, Febuary 29th 2012 – Emerging Rockets selected Tagga Media in their Rocket Builders 2012 Ready to Rocket ICT list. Market strategy and consulting firm Rocket Builders compiles the annual list from their analysis of company performance against market data and trends to select the top twenty-five private BC companies positioned to capitalize on industry growth.

Tagga’s mobile marketing campaign management platform is used by ad agencies and brands across North America to take their campaign strategies mobile. Tagga’s work in 2011 generated new ideas around utilizing the mobile device to create meaningful cross media interactions and empowered Tagga customers to drive better results. Named as an “Emerging Rocket” in 2010, Tagga jumped onto the Ready to Rocket list in its second consecutive year. Tagga is now seeking to grow into the international stage, looking to open up in Latin America this year.

“Thanks to the broad adoption of mobile and social media, consumers are becoming channel agnostic, often interacting with a brand across multiple channels”, said Amielle Lake, CEO & Founder of Tagga Media. “The challenge for marketers is to build marketing programs that are truly integrated so that consumers can engage with a brand wherever they are, whenever they want”.

Tagga was added to the finalist list for Deloitte & Touche’ Top 100 Emerging Companies in Canada and the Red Herring North American List.
