Inside Sales Manager

Tagga is launching a new self-serve product in November that will catapult the company to new heights. Driving new subscriptions into our new cloud based offering, initiating customer acquisition strategies, working in collaboration with Marketing, Sales and Products in building pull strategies, will be a normal day for this new and key role at Tagga.

Working inside the base level, the ISM will work with Enterprise sales in highlighting new customers that are ideal candidates to move into an Enterprise level with Tagga.

There is an expectation that the ISM will be hands on, roll up the sleeves, and own the Inside Sales Process for 3 months, and will also be responsible at building a larger organization supporting the expected growth at Tagga.

The Inside Sales Manager proactively calls into an existing database of customers, prospects and seeks out additional opportunities for partnerships and revenue through telephone communications, referrals and research.

The ideal candidate will make transactional sales of Tagga products and services and foster their sales pipeline, close sales and adhere to general best practices in developing assigned territories.

  • Have 3+ years experience in web services/software/technology sales and a proven track record of sales success

Mobile System Engineer

Mobile System Engineer

Will be responsible for building awesome and successful mobile sites and engagements, leveraging heavily in usage of our Tagga Platform, as well, incorporating today’s and tomorrow’s social media tools. As a mobile web and backend developer at Tagga, you will assist in developing cutting-edge websites and solutions for mobile platforms and desktop devices. This role will closely coordinate with internal, cross-functional teams on projects that range from a couple of weeks to a couple of months in length.

Responsibilities

  • You will advise on mobile technologies.
  • Design and help develop mobile and desktop optimized web backends.
  • Design, draft and help develop functional specs as required, and as needed to develop mobile components during the development process.
  • Develop mobile platform elements, enhancing the internal and external API, as needed.
  • Ensure interoperability between mobile back end and existing architecture.
  • Suggest alternate solutions to existing desktop implementations.
  • Provide reliable effort estimates.
  • Work closely with project managers, front-end designers and other team members to ensure compliance with project scope and needs.
  • Review and evaluate third-party products and tools.

Requirements

  • You are passionate about delivering the best mobile experiences
  • 2+ years experience systems integration in the LAMP stack.
  • 2+ years of experience designing website backend architecture (a big plus for mobile site experience)
  • Experience in the understanding and development of: CSS3, Javascript, and HTML5
  • Cross-browser development experience (IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
  • Understanding of website development best practices and SEO
  • Understanding Web Tracking , Ad Servicing, and Analytics, and Reporting (GA, Omniture, etc.)
  • Some database maintenance and management
  • Driven and self-directed while still being able to work in teams and interact with designers
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills

Preferred Skillset

  • Two+ years of experience coding semantically-correct, standards-compliant websites with a solid and wide experience in PHP, CakePHP, mySQL, HTML5, Javascript (YUI and/or jQuery)
  • Understanding of mobile development best practices (responsive frameworks such as bootstrap, progressive enhancement, graceful degradation)
  • Cross-platform mobile website development experience (iOS, Android, BlackBerry, Windows Phone 7, webOS, etc.)
  • Strong JavaScript experience and familiarity with various JavaScript frameworks, Ajax/JSON, and gesture/touch-based JavaScript
  • Experience in unit testing in Javascript
